Just my opinion but I don't like the wood at all. I actually think it's the only crk knife I've seen that I dont like....but we all have different tastes. So congrats anyway.

Oh maaaaaaaaan! That's the first response?!:D

It's loud, I think that's why I dig it.

On a positive note, atleast I helped you meet a first in your life;)

Congrats RR84, I also just got my first Annual, first regular, first large, all the same and from the same great seller :)

I think you got a really nice knife by the way, they were both so tempting. It's so unique I love it.

These pics are not easy, I can do better but this will have to do for now:
I have never heard of Amboyna before this week :) It sounds like the noise you make when a knife is in the mail on the way to you :welcoming:

I don't mind the wood that much, I know it looks better in person as well. Not a bad knife at all.

looks good bro:thumbup:

Thanks man. I love it. I've been advised to put it in a safe, but I gotta carry it:thumbup:

Thanks Haze. The wood does indeed look better in person and there are far better pics then mine of it. Laziness and a cell phone camera don't equate to top notch photography.

Thanks Tom!

That top pic was love at first sight. Sunlight and natural scales make for beautiful pictures. Thanks for coming to the rescue!

I've never seen one of those before. I dig the leopard look, very unique. Nice score RR84!

Thanks Lisa!

You got it down pat. My exact thoughts on the animal. Me reading big game hunting books lately may have been an influence :D

I think the wood is great. How many folks have one of those?
You and your hunting books...must be Capstick again, huh? LOL You have great taste in wood and in authors.
best regards,
Sonny
