My first attempt at modding

So today it was pretty slow in the shop so I decided to mod my 707 sequel. At first I was just wanting to get rid of the factory grind marks that ran from the spine to the edge but then went a little further. I looked at the swedge on the back of the blade and thought that it would make a nice template for turning it into a clip point. I got the swedge all ground off and hand filed/sanded the blade to remove the grind marks and took it down to 1000 grit. At this point I'm unsure if I want to continue to polish the blade or go with a stone wash finish so I figured I would get some input from everyone here while showing off my first modification.

I would vote stonewash based off of how it looks now. Nice mod. Looks more sliceyer (take that spellcheck). Would you do the wd-40 dryer stone wash or in an actual tumbler?

thanks guys :) It would have to be a dryer run as I don't have access to a tumbler. I was thinking of continuing to polish as much as I can then if I don't like it that way ill go with the stone wash.

I think a polish would look nice, but with some of the tool marks still visible the stonewash would be a better route.

Looks awesome. I think the SW would hide any tool marks.

Yeah I guess with the stonewash if I ever scratch the blade I can re-stonewash it and keep it pretty. With a high polish its a pain in the butt to get it back out.

really appreciating the input guys keep it coming :D
