My first automatic watch...

So I picked up my first automatic watch last weekend. In fact, it is my first watch above generic Fossil quality. It's nothing fancy by any means. It's a Croton. Got it second hand in a pawn shop- went in because they usually have good .22 rifle selection around hunting season :D. Anyways I paid $70 for it so it was a decent deal. Got it and started wearing it and immediately hated the rubber/silicone band. So I picked up a leather band. That wasn't quite what I wanted either. So looking on evilbay I found a nice looking band. Supposedly it's real carbon fiber, leather backing. It's more comfortable than the leather band, also lighter. The buckle isn't quite as nice though, just basic. But it really sets off the CF face on the watch itself.

I don't know if I will turn into a watch guy, but I do like this one. Always wanted an auto. How is Croton? This is kind of a rare thing for me, I bought something I know next to nothing about, it was sort of an impulse buy.

great looking watch! I got my first automatic a little while ago and it doesn't want to keep good time. it will be running fine foe a day or two then suddenly I will look and its 3 hrs off. anyone know it this is normal with these type of watches. Sorry for running a little off topic.
