Two dangerous things.. YouTube Knife videos and Amazon free same day shipping....

My only experience to date with Benchmade Knives has been my awesome old school Model 910 which of course is a liner lock.. here is a link to my 910 just in case your interested..

I have always wanted to try a Axis Lock Benchmade but honstley was not sure if I would like um.. But after seeing a few reviews on the "New" 940-2 I thought I would take the plunge.. and I did.. and I am happy I did.. as a mater of fact I liked it so much when it arrived at my door yesterday.. four short hours after I placed my order.. I purchased a second Benchmade.. oh wait there's the door bell now... ;) Nothing like a three day weekend.. Youtube Knife videos.. and Amazon's same day delivery.. actualy kind of scary..

Here are some sorry pictures of my new 940-2..

Nice purchase mate, free same day shipping would definitely be scary for me...I live in Oz so it takes a bloody decade to receive anything. Enjoy that 940, it's one of the best EDC's of all time.

Congrats. The 940 is a beautiful EDC blade. I'm actually going to be picking up a 940-2 pretty soon here.

Thanks Mick!! I bet living in Oz does have its advantages.. But I know what you mean.. Shipped a knife to a fella down under once.. Got to its first stop in three days but it was another two weeks before it arrived at it's new home..
All the best!!

Thanks I appreciate it!! I think you will be very happy when you get one of these!! Awesome Knife for sure.
All the best!

Congrats! My favorite part about a 940 is that even though the blade/knife is so skinny and long, it feels just as solid as any knife I own. Absolutely no blade play and buttery smooth action!
