Here are some scans of my first balisong!
I was in Moscow over the newyear, and I looked for a bali everywhere, found it the last day in a small crummy shop, for 40 rubel (about 1 and a half dollar), hehe...
My girlfriend had no problems with it, I'm glad to say!
But now I'm gonna buy myself two Jaguars.
And the latch is on the wrong handle on this one. Don't want to learn too much on it, or it may be hard to unlearn it when I get my Jag's....

You DO want to learn the manila style latch (what you have) as well as batangas style (what Jags have), you'll be better off having learned how to manipulate balisongs both ways. Congratulations on getting you first balisong!

It says it's made in the US...

Haha...a buck fifty...I got my first one for nine bucks(which suspiciously was all I had).

Congrats for your first balisong!

No I don't think it's brass handles, they are very light, but I'm not too sure, I don't know much about knife materials...

Real nice G! Welcome to the flip side!

That's funny that it says "stainless USA". I've never seen that knife before here and it looks like the ones that are commonly marked (at least in the US) as "rostfei". I wonder if importers just put on different stamps depending on where it's being shipped. It does have a manila style latch, which is also unusual for coming from the US. Anyway, congrats on your first bali.
