....is on the way. Mini Skinner. I can`t wait. The fact is, this will be my first fixed blade. I have an order in for a Tom Krein, but this will arrive first. I know it comes with a leather sheath, but I`d really like a small vertical sheath. Any sheath ideas that would fit the bill?

If you get a kydex sheath, you can fit it with a tek-lok, and wear it any way you like, changing the angle with the circumstances.

Don't know about the sheath question. But congradulations on the Bark River. I've bought them in the past for gifts, but only recently bought one for myself. Great quality, reasonable prices, incredible selection of materials, and beautiful designs. Way to go!

Bark Rivers are awesome knives!

and Mike Stewart is a great guy and friend!

I think you'll be happy with your BRKT. I own a few. Good knife for the $ and nice handle options.

Congratulations dig-it! You made a great choice and you wont be disappointed!
Bark Rivers are great knives and Mike Stewart's customer service is one of the best in the industry. If your looking for a sheath and you don't see it on my website drop me a e-mail or give me a call and I'll get it for you.
I have two sheath makers that supply my sheaths, one makes my kydex sheaths and the other makes all of my leather sheaths. Both do excellent work!

Thanks for the positive feedback all. Torz and Scott, I appreciate the headsup on the kydex. Scott I`ll be in touch.

The Mini Canadian arrived and I`m more than pleased. I appreciate that for a small fixed blade the wide tang between the handles feels just right in my paws. The edge is silky sharp, the grip is a little slick, but no complaints.
Just got off the phone this afternoon with that wildman Scott at Sagecreek Outfitters has the sheath I asked about on the way. Thanks Scott. This little beauty is sweet.
