I've used Bark River knives before. A lot. I even recieved a Mikro Canadian as a gift. I've traded for a Kephart. But I purchased my first one, brand new, a few days ago.
I bought the Mini Canadian in A-2 steel, with green Micarta handle scales and solid pins. http://www.ecommerce-shopping-cart.us/mcknight/index.php?action=imageview&type=item&id=1785

I'm very happy with it. Looks great, takes a sharp edge and keeps it, and is useful enough for everyday carry without scaring the sheeple. Too bad it's not being made any more :-(

Where did you hear that they are not being made anymore? I just got my matching Mini and Micro Canadians 2 days ago brand new from factory. They patina up really qiuck (one calzone and 2 mangoes) but still look good.

The BRKT Mini-Canadian is still being made - in fact, a batch of them were made just a month or two ago.

It is a great little knife, and one of my favorites for EDC.

Baldematrix says "There will be more of this item produced."
