First batch of knives since getting my new Pheer. Upgrading from a 2x42 was long overdue and kicking myself for waiting so long! Still need a lot more practice but the quality improvement is noticeable to me. The variable speed (vfd) makes a huge diffrrence IMO.

My son (6 years old) wanted me to make a BIG knife. At 10.5" it's my biggest so far. A hunter/camp in 1095. Next to it is a small skinner from a recycled antique sawmill blade I was given. I heat treated it as 15n20 and it hardened up nice. Just about 60rhc according to my files. My first attempt at basket weave and first ambi-cross draw.
