This is my first completion (I have 7 more blades awaiting handles). It took me quite awhile to get it done, it has a few small mistakes but overall I'm extremely happy with it. OAL is almost 8", blade is O-1 HT'd by Peter's Heat Treat in PA and handle is polished, stabilized burl. Brass pins and thong hole. Razor sharp and holds an edge like I've never seen! Unfortunately I forgot to stamp some of my blades before they went to HT, but this one is going to a buddy of mine anyhow. Thanks for looking and any comments are apprectiated (good or bad)!!!

I hardly see any reason to be gentle -- that looks great! The finish on both the blade and the handle are impressive, made so much more because it's your first!
Can't wait to see you second...

Man I would be embarrassed to show off that kind of work.....NOT! That's some good work there! Well done!

ahh hell. Looks great to me! That wood has sweet figure in it :)

u think that is good...wow u still need to look around the forum then....because that is REALLY GOOD...great job..and lets see what u have next...

If that's what the first looks like, keeping going.

As a buyer I like you used a really eye catching wood piece, that's half the battle getting a buyer to look;)

That's superb for your first knife! Congrats!

(Comment: Maybe make the "trigger" finger groove larger, otherwise great job!)

Thanks all for your comments! I appreciate the support that BF has profided. With y'all (and my girl who bought by shop stuff for Christmas), I could have never accomplished this much. Have 6 more blades to handle and finish. Will post for more suggestions when I get there!

Yea, I noticed that after it was all HT'd and handled. I have small fingers, so I works for me, but my next will definitely allow for larger hands. Thanks for the comments!
