My first becker. Accessory questions.

Hello fellas,
My BIL just gave me my first Becker as a Christmas present and less than 24 hours later I'm feeling the need to accessorize. I found a totally awesome sheath by goose_52 but I'm having a hard time finding handle scales. I found some on another site but I cant find any great forum options. What do you guys say? Is there an awesome set of grips out there at an awesome price for my BK11?

Well, there's always the stock micarta. Tomar's sells it (and I can say that name as often as I want because they are now an official dealer here :D)

...congrats either way! I can assure you you will have more within a few weeks. Speaking of that, the best accessory to a BK11 is a BK2 or 7.
 
Had mine for quite some time before I got around to slapping some micarta on it. It's a good upgrade.

Haha, sorry guys, it's stored in my luggage so there's no pics yet. I also ordered a 7 and a 2 that are sitting back home in my mailbox... interesting you mentioned that!

Welcome to the sickness Rusty. I like the way you jumped in head first, I'm betting you end up a regular around here.

Great deal on the 7 you scored on the exchange, even comes with a nice looking Kydex sheath. I was drooling over that one but couldn't buy it right now.

Do you have an idea of what kind of handles you want? Wood? Micarta? Plastic?

The most popular handles for your BK 11 and both bigger Beckers are the Kabar micarta. Have you checked these out yet?

There are a few beckerheads that make some real nice micarta but I have never seen it for sale. There is also a few types(wood, micarta, plastic, glow in the dark stuff) available on that huge auction site that we cant link you to...
