I am new to the Becker scene. This is my first Becker. How many I'll end up with has yet to be seen. How many models are there anyway, ha, ha. This is also my first patina job. It's uneven from one side to the other, but I like it. And I can always redo the patina later. I also bead blasted the handles. It doesn't add much more traction, but I like the look of it a little better. A more aggressive media blasting (sand) would probably add more grip.
Anyway, I am hooked! The BK2 is a heck of a knife, and it is a blast to work on and make it your own.

Looks great, the picture quality is amazing.
Here is my first Becker and first patina job.
I wrapped it with a vinegar soaked paper towel.

I think that is done with a hot soldering iron. Tap, tap, tap, for an hour or two. But I might be wrong. That one almost looks like crinkle paint, but I don't think so. Does anyone know of something that will "melt" or disolve Grivory. I've heard that paint remover will not affect it. But I've wondered about something else to melt the surface in a semi controlled manner.

This is a great photo. Did you buy these or mod?

I do it myself. Longun is right, I use a hot soldering iron. It takes about an hour per scale, but they are amazing for grip and control. Those were my first set of Becker grips, but I've done a ton of parts for the AR weapon system. I just finished 2 sets, for other Beckerheads, and mailed them out today. If either of you guys are interested, email me, and ill do yours for ya, free of charge.

bsmith_shoot, thank you for the offer. Wow!!!!!!! Free of charge! I don't even know what to say to that. That is going above and beyond. What a nice group of people we have here!!!!! But I'm kind of a DIY type of a guy. The more things I learn how to do the better I feel. I'll need to buy a pointed soldering iron, but you can never have to many tools anyway. And your comment about doing AR platforms has got me thinking. Thanks again bsmith_shoot! And keep up the good work!!!!!!!!

No problem man, and the offer still stands. I learned how to do it on p-mags, and various other magpul gear.
