Hello people, I just bought a bk7 and did some custom stippling and thought I'd share it with you. I'm loving the knife so far, also I'm going to be purchasing a bk24 shortly. (my knife needs will hopefully be fulfilled by these two knives.)

The only other thing I plan on doing is getting a kydex sheath with a piggy back for the bk24 and a firesteel. I thought about grinding off the thumb ramp and putting in a choil, but I won't know till I actually get to use the knife.

Nice stipple job and welcome to the forums, sir. Or ma'am. If these're the first knives you've had, they won't be soon. Wait'll Hoss gets around here. :D

Sit down and make y'self comfortable. Lots of fun to be had.

From what I've seen, Beckers are like potato chips: you can't have just one. I'm pretty sure you'll end up buying more than you bargained for…

Are you planning on buying a sheath or making one?

That's a pretty slick looking seven you've got there. Come on in the house and make yourself at home. Good to have you.

Nice stippling job! I'm new to the forums too and now I'm wondering now if I need a seven before or after the nine on my list, which is currently after the 16...

Welcome Germ! Looking good. 1 big Becker and 1 small are really all you need...But good luck sticking with two. They are infectious.

Now that is different....... Pretty cool too.....

Thanks for your business and I do hope your Beckers work their buns off on your behalf.......

Thanks for dropping by and posting........ Hope we see you again.....

Ethan

Welcome to the madness. That's a really great mod there. I think you might still be in a dream state. So, allow me to wake you up a bit.
When I started in this forum just over a year ago, I had the same notion. "I'm gonna get a big and small one and that's it." I got a 2 and 14, as an afterthought I picked up a mid-size knife, the 16, and I said "ok, that's really it." Then I got a knife for free from Ethan and I said, "ok, so this is really it this time." Then I saw one on CL and said, "ok, so just this last one." That didn't work either because I saw another 14 which would be awesome for my son for Xmas. I said "I'm done." Well, a few weeks later I picked up a 9 and a 16 because my daughter stole my 16 from me, so I had to replace it and, the 9 is required if you want to be a proper BeckerHead, so I dropped some cash for that. I said "I can't handle all this 1095 crack I've been ingesting", so I finally gave in. And then I got new pants for the 9. I will get them all.

"Need", maybe but you'll certainly want others. It seems to be a Becker thing. It's kind of like eating potato chips. One or two just won't satisfy a craving. I thought I just needed a 2 and 11 but it didn't take long at all to accumulate a 7,9,10,13 and 16 to keep them company. Enjoy!

Sorry I'm late. Nice stipple job on the scales. The 7 was my most recent and I'm rather pleased with it. Not quite what I expected, in a good way. Unfortunately the 7 and the 24 won't fulfill all of your needs because neither is a BK9, and you need a BK9. You can't not have a 9. :D

Very nice job on the knife. There's always something new here to learn. Those handles came out great.

Good looking work.... That is the one thing i won't try because i don't have the patience to do it right and i know i will make a mess of it.....bingo you just gave me a way to get another set of custlm wooden handles. Thanks.

As for the 2 knives principle. I am of the same mind. My first purchase was the bk2 and then I decided i needed another to compliment it...long story short my 2 knife carry options are now as follows:
Anything big and anything almost as big! Lol. Once the bug sets in you won't stop until you have them all...i am working on getting them all but it is a painful process as everytime a new one shows up at the door my wife's voice raises several octaves and my ears bleed for a few days.

Enjoy your blades.

Those will not fill your knife needs. They will only awaken desires for more, MORE, MORE, MORE, MORE Beckers!

According to all fact and fiction, you now need a 9! :D
