My first Becker + Review BK11

First off I would like to thank the gentleman i got this from, pleasure to deal with!

On to the knife...

My first impression was the small but handy size. It looks smaller in person then in pictures but it still fits in my hand nicely. It comes shaving sharp out of the box, I now have a bald spot on my arm. The sheath is nice and its easy to get the knife in and out. I have read about others having a hard time with the sheath but mine came perfect. I might make a smaller one so I can fit it in my front pocket. I did not use the para cord that came with but I did try wrapping the knife with it and it felt comfortable. I may buy orange cord for it.

Now for testing...

I was very hungry so I decided the testing will be done indoors.

It cut through the paper and plastic like it wasn't even there.
Once the pizza was in I noticed I was thirsty ...

it opened this with ease.

Overall and so far I love this knife. And being my first Becker I see more in my future. I have a 14 on the way and I'm looking at 7's.

Oh and the outcast lended a helping hand...

Beckers are hard on arm hair. You'll get used to the bald spots.

Wonder which one (11 or 14) you'll EDC?

Im not sure. I am EDCing the 11 right now and it fits in my pocket better then I thought. I think the 11 will take over the 14 just because of the bottle opener. I dont drink often (usually only with dinner), but its cool having it!

The 14 will prob be in my jeep or pack at all times.

Anyone know a good place to get orange paracord?

Not a fair test since only half the pizza has peperoni. However, the Fat Tire was such a quality choice of beverage that I'm giving your review :thumbup: :thumbup:.
