My first Becker, The King (picture heavy)

Hey yall, im pretty new to BF and just started posting around the BKT forum a little bit too. Well, after drooling through the bk9 picture thread, i knew i needed one

Actually she came in yesterday but i was out and about for the entire day, so i arrived happyily and expectantly to:

opened it up and was shocked at how solid it really felt. i knew it was going to be, but still, i was pleasantly surprised:

so i chopped up the box and put it to bed, waiting eagerly to stretch its legs in the morning.

Todays to-do list involved breaking down some of the xmas trees we have left over:

I was absolutely blown away at the 9s performance. id heard big game talked about it around here, but i was so pleased with it. it tore through the work like butter:

walked away with some well loved marks from the job, im pumped to put her to some more hard work soon:

Im hooked, this was my first becker and certainly not my last. hope you enjoy just some random pictures.

you're not kidding! i was really, really pleased at how this knife lived up to all I'd read and then some. I found my new workhorse.

Is it really possible to do anything but go big with becker? Even the little ones seem to be pretty tough.

I done some fence row clearing and tree pruning with my 9 today. I love it more with each use. I didn't have any way to do pics, which is my only regret for the day.

Thanks everyone! man, we had some fun today. We've got a couple dead pine saplings and a palm tree that need removing tomorrow, my 9 will be stretchin its legs again tomorrow!

The 9 is the King and a damn fine choice for a man's or woman's (talkin to you Kitchen Help) first, second or third Becker. After that you are just insulting the knife.
