My first Becker

For christmas i recieved a Becker Bk7 and a Bk13. first thing i said was WOW. These knives are a perfect combo together. I tried batoning and chopping with the mighty bk7 and it is amazing for it. Also the Bk13 is perfect for skinning small game and widdling and stuff. the bk13 for its size is probably the best fixed blade. The bk7 is my favorite knife i have ever owned. These are my first beckers but definately not my last. Ive got my eye on the Campanion. Are they going to make a BK7 or BK9 with a 1/4in thick spine yet because that would be perfect.

Doubt it.

Congrats on the get. I have a BK11 and BK2 and hope to get a BK7 soon.

Try the BK 9, you will be surprised at the weight, not 1/4 inch thick but still heavy enough but not too bulky. But maybe so for a hike, but not for camp.
