My Rats were getting lonely and that BWM was looking mighty fine.....

I am very happy with my new knife. The handle feels great, and the weight is just right, hopefully I'll get to take her out for some fun soon. For a sheath I am going to be pairing her up with a matching Ratmandu in an Armoralleather Ultimate Hoss rig. I also have a LMIW Footlong on order. Man are my friends gonna be jealous

Nice

This is one that I don't have but it may be my next Busse purchase.

.

I'm no knifemaker but IMHO the Busse BWM is blade perfection. Just wait 'til you use it.

Congrats, that's probably the first of many :D

Yeah I know that! I had to lock my wallet in a drawer so it doesn't run away...

It knows I have been looking at your sweet collection of NMSFNOs, and Steel Hearts, not ot mention the all the other goodies you have :)

It is a great design. Handle feels awesome in the hand, and nice and light for carrying (compared to the beast's I normally carry)

At first, I thought I'd pass on the BWM -- I have several FFFBMs, a few CG FBM, more tan a dozen Dog Fathers, and even a couple NMFBMs, so who needs a BWM? Then I kept hearing about them on the Scrap Yard forum, and decided that they might be my best chance at a production-priced Straight-Handled BM-ish knife so I ordered three (just as an investment, mind you -- I'm not spending money, I'm investing...). I liked them so much that I ordered three more. Then, when the Competition Finish BWMs came to Knob Creek, I bought three of them. At the last Knob Creek, they were one of the knives in the "Desert Warfare Sets", and I had to have a couple of those. So, by the time the dust cleared (assuming no new "got to have 'em" versions are released), I went from "I'll pass" to buying eleven. BWMs are among the most addictive of the Busse Combat line.

Congrats! The BWM is a great first big Busse! :D :D :D

I look forward to making that sheath! Thats going to be one heck of a combo, and giving me some ideas for extracurricular sheathwork. :o

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Now the LCABS is calling me... but I just bought a Hinderer Flashpoint a few weeks ago for an EDC fixed.

Hey Leatherman what kind of extracurricular ideas?

After looking at the Ultimate Hoss rig I can't imagine a better setup... it can go Dundee if need be, there's the Dangler for regular trail and camp use, and then there are the rigging loops so I can attach it to my pack. Throw in the loop and the piggyback and it's a complete setup. I placed an order via email yesterday if you have any suggestions for my rig I would love to hear em. I know you are a busy fella and the wait will be worth it :)

Nice knife, congrats. I bought and received my BWM last week. The handle is very comfortable along with the weight and size of the blade at 10.5 inches. I bought mine from a member who got it at Knob Creek, and I plan to use it on my next camping trip.

Masterchief2, congrats on your BWM! I just bought one off the forum from lazi and I'm very excited about recieving it. Did you see the one on Feebay that just sold for $561.00!

561! That is insane.... good for the seller though I guess. If it was an LE I would understand the price tag but not for a CG.

Congrats on your purchase as well. I really think the BWM is the perfect blade to bring in some newer folks, it is not too expensive and you get a lot of steel for the $$. I was pretty happy with my Rats until this Mistress came along. I still love my Rats don't get me wrong, especially the smaller ones but this Mistress is making my Chopweiler feel inadequate :)

Congrats on the BWM!! I'm hoping to add a Mistress to my collection very soon. By the way, the Williamsburg Alewerks "Washington Porter" is a solid beer and one of my favorites!

Thanks man! I am already lovingly looking at a knobganza Comp Finish model.... I may just end up ordering an Anorexic Boss Street before they are gone. I also want an Skinny ASH, and Eric is tempting me with a Waki, sooooo man am I in trouble..... not to mention I have a HEST folder pre-ordered, as well as a LMIW sheath on order,, the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 is finally out, and then there is my HOSS rig from Armoralleather.... WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!!!! At least I know I am not the only one :)

And yes that Porter is absolutely delicious. It is my second favorite right behind the Eel River Porter. If you have not had that one I highly recommend it!
