My word. I don't even know how you would do that kind of damage. It looks like it tore.

I bet someone would still give you $50 for it.
 
Know a good welder? I'll bet one could fix it up for, oh say, double what a nice one would cost. Seriously, though, I would find a welder and befriend him so he'd weld it up for free. It's too nice of a stamp and too fresh a bit to give up hope on in my (probably wrong) opinion.
 
i'd recommend getting it oxy-cetylene welded so there's minimal clean up and a lot less chance to mess up the mark. i could weld it but i won't for a few reasons, 1, anxiety and 2 i dont know if my oxy rig works
 
The way to fix that, since the other side is bad, is to gain access to the inside and v it out almost to the crack and whack it back together with a hot tack method and weld it from the inside
 
looks like handle froze into the eye several times... the bit is far too cracked to make it a user! danger!
