Due to the unexpected generosity of a fellow forum member I was just gifted the beauty below and I have to say I'm very happy and impressed.
I've been eyeing the Blur for a long time now. Always read and heard only good thing's about it but like most knives wondered if it was as good as people say or you think it will be.
Well, after having one for about 24 hours now since the unexpected package arrived, I can honestly say, yes, it's that good! I've barely put it down since it arrived.
I was immediately impressed with the ergo's and solid feel. I generally prefer larger blades in the 4" range but the Blur feel's great in hand and not small at all. This one is de-assisted at the moment but I'm going to put the torsion bar back in to try it out but as is blade deployment is very smooth and lock up is solid. My thumb naturally finds the thumb stud and opening is a real pleasure. Not to mention I think it a very good looking knife too.
Well, just wanted to share and say now I know why the Blur is so popular and well liked. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one. If you haven't tried one, I strongly suggest you do!
Great knife indeed!
