Good evening,

my first Boker (A Haddock) arrived - pretty pleased with it! Very nice fit and finish - blade centered and sharp, solid (and very silent) lockup, easy to open one handed...also loving the overall shape of the blade and the grip, the stonewashed finish on blade and frame and the sculpted G10: so far this knife is a keeper! It's also fairly light and even if the clip is very tight it works very well.

Now I have a lot of questions about care and sharpening and I hope I can get some informed advice:
How to clean the knife? How to lube pivot and blade? Is it recommended to disassemble the knife for cleaning and lubing or only if it's really dirt? Using which tools? Last, which tool is recommended for sharpening the blade?

Thanks for your time, patience and advice!
Erminio

Thanks for getting one of our Haddock's.
This is pretty easy, no need to lube it. if it is kind of sticky, put it into warm water, with some mild dis liquid.
Also, there is no real need to disassemble the knife.
If you have a Spyderco Sharpmaker, it would be a great tool to keep it sharp.

I hope, this helps...
