Good evening to all members of the forum.
Here is my latest work and also my first bowie/fighter.
6" satin finished O1 blade;
5 mm thick at ricasso;
stainless steel guard and spacer;
4"1/2 brazilian rosewood;
mother of pearl pins;
The sheath is made of bufalo and shark leather.
Hope you all like it.

Very vlean package all together. Really good for a first of this kind. I like the leather you chose for the sheath too.

I think it and the sheath look very good. I'll be very interested in seeing if you make a bowie with a 10 inch or larger blade.

Thanks guys.
Keith, I'm thinking of doing it like you said.10" bowies.
this is my first of many comming...
best regards

Yes,
I can't forget to thank Rodrigo Sfreddo and Luciano Dorneles, as friends and teachers.

In my opinion, you have a great deal of talent. You have yet to post a knife that I didn't like. It's great to see you making some in my favorite style.

I agree with Anthony, you have a very good eye for design and what appears in the photos to be excellent fit and finish. A person would think you had made far more knives than you have.

Thank's Keith,
words like that make me wanna improve more my work in every piece that I post here.

I'm thinking already on this, but at the same time I think I could improme more my wok first, then put a website

Daniel,
I agree with everyone,very nice & clean work.
I'm another one interested in seeing a larger blade.
Keep up the good work. :thumbup:

That is a really nice-looking bowie. I look forward to seeing more examples of your work.

Not to be contrary but the first thing that was of concern to me is the length of the guard in relationship to the width of the blade at the maximum in front of the ricasso. I'd think that a guard with more height at the top and additional height at the bottom would provide a nicer relationship between guard and blade.

As with another thread, here is a photo which, to me, has more "snap" to the image whereas the images presented appear to have a "mist" on them. Not sure what image editior you may be using but with DIP 10 it was a simple one click of auto levels to get the result now shown. Some programs will perhaps only have a contrast adjustment. Check yours and see if you can adjust the images you have or may do in the future. HTH.

WOW,Murray,that really lights up the polish in the guard/ferrule and shows the clip more advantageously.
Cool. :thumbup:

Doug :)

Thank's Murray,
ts strange because in my laptop, the image is much nicer than here...
but sure you helped a lot.
Thank's Doug and Roger for the words.
Best regards

SUPER!!! :cool: :thumbup:

Can't wait to see what you come up with next!

I'd love to see this design with the same clean execution but with a stag handle and a blade that's a couple inches longer.

Keep 'em coming!!! :D
