I realized this is the first Bowie I have made or at least finished. It is forged from 1084 with a wrought iron guard and butt cap. The handle is cocobolo. The first inch or so of the clip is sharpened.
Overall length 14"
Blade 9"
Width 1 1/2'
Let me know what you think. Thanks Todd

I like the guard and the carved handle.......nice.
Darcy:)

Nice! I'm hoping it's still around for me to see at the show. What table are you at? I would love to sneak away from my table to come check that out.

Todd I love it The carving is clean and flows with the knife very well I look forward to seeing it.

Very nice. Looking forward to seeing it at the show! And. I like how you have a built in stand!

Very nice, Todd...........I enjoy the carved/sculpted integral piece I got from you. :)

Thanks for the compliments. I am looking forward to connecting in Eugene. My table is S-15 i believe. Dave thanks for your comments, the class you and Tom put on bumped me up to the next level. And Dudley, I am glad you are happy with your knife, I'll have a couple of new integrals for the show Todd

Funny...I've been thinking about exactly that kind of D-guard wondering when someone was going to do that and you did! Only downside, despite how pretty the wood handle is, is that I wish the handle was more organic looking full of curves and such instead of slightly blocky looking. Just my opinion. :p

Very pretty knife regardless.
