I just got my first Brend, a 10 inch model 2.
I found the knife at a local gun show in a dealers case. When I inquired about the knife he said he purchase directly from Walter in 1987 and mainly just showed the knife off in his case. It took me 4 months to talk the guy out of it.
The knife is over 25 years old and has some sheath wear and bumps and bruises but has the original edge from Walter.
I'm on the fence about trying to send it back to Walter to see if he would give it a spa treatment.
Do you think I should send it back for a refresh or leave it alone?
