Well, I bought this little knife at the local sporting goods store for $40 today. Couldn't resist.

As can be seen by the title, it's my first Buck 110 and only my second Buck knife (My first was a 379 I got last Saturday) and I like it a lot. It came razor sharp and is a nice solid folder. I think I found my new EDC.

Gave me a little cut while I was testing the edge (can be seen in above pic, minus most of the blood).

You picked a good knife...one of my favorites. I've used a 110 for hunting since the mid-1980's, and I've found no good reason to change.

Congratulations, I still have my first 110. I bought it in the spring of 1980. That cut does'nt look to bad. Spray some bactine on it.

Me, too.

And my seventh and my twelfth and.....so forth.

Great knife.....great choice!

Following the recent deer season (and having dressed two Whitetail), I was noticing all of these little slices in the skin of my fingers. Only one cut that I remembered doing...that one left a little scar on the knuckle of my pinky. Can't say that I haven't closed one on my finger from time to time, too.

Every knife enthusiest needs to at least try the Buck 110 it is truely as American as apple pie and some feel that it was the original hard use folder.

WB, welcome to the Buck Forum... Nice pics of your new 110 and cut finger... Be sure to post some pics on the SPS... ITE

I've been using knives all my life,no matter how carefull, every once in awhile they like to bite!Nice knife, you chose a good one!

Congrats on your 110!I've carried one on and off since the late 70s.The 110 still remains my favorite locking folder.

ya sir ree ! a buck can bite and some times dey sprot legs and walk off ...
got to keep an eye on them..
i's dont know any one not ben bit by a buck ...
heck i was bitten by buck 110 back in da days before dots...
yup dey is a good knife... then and now...

I guess my first real folder was a Buck 110, paid $20 for it in 1972. Many called me crazy to pay that much for a knife back then. Broke the tip on it, wish I still had it. I think the neighbor kid lifted it in the mid 70's. Lot of stuff went missing while I lived in that house going to Jr. College.

Welcome to Buck Fever:D, bad enough to be infected through the air let alone through the skin. Keep feedin the symptom, steady dosage of new(at least to you) Bucks.

Hi Warren -

They do come sharp, eh? I think my Bucks are the sharpest factory edges of any knife I have bought.

Best regards -
