My first Buck

Hey, i just got my first Buck knife today! I got a beat up 119 from a friends brother's friend. All i had to do was trade him a butterfly knife i got from myrtle beach. I found the tang symbol online and apparently it is a 2008 model. It looks like a 1988 model. This knife was in terrible condition, and its obvious this knife was abused. Still glad i rescued it though. I like my first buck. Im an instant fan of the 119's.

P.S. Does anybody have any blade cleaning tips and tricks? Did my best but the knife is still pretty rough.

Send it to Buck for their Spa treatment. Not sure how much it costs, but I expect it would be cheap. I sent my (very) old, (very) used 501 to them for a blade wobble fix under lifetime warranty and when I got it back they had given me a complimentary cleanup - and, man, was it nice. All it cost me was one-way shipping.
