After spending 3 days knowing my apartment complex office had it held hostage behind closed doors, and spending 10 hours at work today watching time slowly crawl by, I finally got to spend time with my first Busse.
I picked up my first piece of INFI after oogling pictures, then starting to notice that I was no longer perusing other knife forums and brand websites. It seems that somehow I knew I would not be happy until until I sated my curiosity.
I finally sprung on what you see depicted below (sorry for the shitty phone pics), a .270" thick, penetrator tipped, satin finish, black paper micarta (I think), Game Warden.
At first I was a bit nervous to use her. She was absolutely mint in her Busse tactical cardboard pants. So I started out making a bagel, using the penetrator tip to gouge some whipped cream cheese from it's armored plastic casing, and bludgeoning it onto an "everything" bagel.
After my post work snack, I said to hell with keeping it factory fresh and went to work on an old wooden bed boxspring that I have meaning to dismantle and throw away.
This little knife is a beast.
I pried pieces of nailed wood apart, bent nails safely down, and even did some unnecessary chopping. This little blade does the work of one many time it's size. The satin finish is not worse for wear, and the boxspring is thinking "WTF JUST HAPPENED TO ME?!?".
Sorry to ramble but I am really satisfied with my purchase, but I have bought and sold dozens of knives over the last few years looking for the EDC for me. This one is a keeper.
