Just got the email that it's on it's way back thanks to Chuck!!! I've been missing this one for a while....my very first Busse. I can't wait until Thursday :D it's the desert SH-e in this picture...never leaving home AGAIN!!!:

So what were your guys first Busse's, when did you get them, and what happened? Still got them? I got this one about a year and a half ago...it's a user now though :D

Oh, thats gotta be a good feeling!

I've made a promise to myself I won't sell my first Busse. I think it's sentimental value far outweighs its value in dollars!

Mine was a FFBM - OD coat and standard green linen scales, courtesy of STEELWHORE!

First was a cord wrapped Apprentice Mean Street that still had the front talon hole. $100. Still have it, and no, not for sale...

Mine was a FBM. I sold it because it had G-10 and I wanted micarta. Kind of wish I would have kept it for mods. There are some I just won't sell though. Nice collection you got there P.

It's a VERY good feeling :D and MEAN STREETS are awesome....a chord wrapped one would be awesome...A2?

Thanks Murdock! I don't have any of those anymore though....I've had nearly ALL the Busse models at one point or another....all the variations too....nearly :D. I've only kept my favorites...I'll get a collection pic up soon after a couple beauts get in :D.

Does it have a # on it? Why were those numbered? I'm not aware of the SH-e numbered series. What's the story?

There was a limited number of desert SH-e's and BM-e's made....maybe NO-e's too...can't remember on the NO's though. I DO know that there was a VERY limited run of CUSTOM shop Desert NO's made though. I don't know the numbers produced, but I think it was under 400 of each. I had a matching BM-e too....traded it to someone...I'll probably try for that one when I get some more cash at a later time :D

EDIT: Oh, forgot to add: They have the desert coating with tan scales (raptor textured instead of quilted like the rest of the ergos) with a fully polished/bead blasted spine.

My first was bought around 2001 I believe and it was a satin finished SHBM with factory D-gaurd. I sold it to the Busse Collector last June or July and I believe it is now with Cobalt.

JohnTheTexican has my third Busse and is hanging onto it for dear life. :p :D

Bought this from the Busse Company store,

Still my favorite.

the only Busse I've sold, that I would like to have back, I can't afford

When in doubt, don't sell it.
:D

Dang JimmyJones, you started out with my most favorite Busse ever:eek: I'll never sell my Black paper leaner either.
Wish I were around when those hit the store!

I started with a GW:o

Glad you got you knife back Paul, don't let it go again:thumbup:

Hey Paul, it was a pleasure beating your first INFI ;) and just as much a pleasure sending it home to you. Thanks for the ASH-1, by the way :)

My first Busse was a SHBA, paid 167 at a survival show where the Busse crew was set up. My first INFI was a tan Off Duty, 450 from Hammy. It's out there, somewhere. Could it be the only OD user?

Glad you got your 1st back... bet that feels GREAT!

Everyone shold keep their first Busse...
here's mine... a DC / Black GW. Picked it up from Stinky at BCS. :D
And yes... I still have it. :)

Here was my first Busse..
Had it for a few months and ended up trading it for a #69 Desert Battle Mistress, which is not going anywhere...

My first Busse was a SFNO satin with standard black scales. I was forced to sell it a few days ago and I regret it already. But on the other hand I help my best friend with the money. He's the guy with the brain tumor surgery.

Jurt,

I hope everything works out to the best! You're a TRUE hog as when it comes down to it...INFI is replacible. I know how you feel...when I was a kid my Mom had a large brain tumor. She pulled through but with some brain damage. That was 16 years ago though...I'll bet with today's technology the outcome would have been different :D.
