Well, I was bitten hard by the Infi bug and have a decent collection started. Thing is, for me, INFI is not something I can buy and hang on to for very long without playing with it.

I beat my tanker grey and pumpkin BWM pretty good in the frozen stuff back around Christmas and decided the machined G10 wasn't too comfy for my big paws with plenty of hot spots. Well, that gave me an excuse to sand her down some to include slightly convexing the edge and now I like the curves on this wacky mistress much better!

So I bought an SJTac CG this week that had the slabs swapped out by the previous owner which gave me the perfect excuse to do my first spine job. After it showed up yesterday I went to work on it and here are the before:

I'm more than happy with the results

Now I stand corrected he did do some sanding on the pumpkin handled bwm also.

Thanks everyone. I may wind up doing some more sanding and going a little bit thinner on the pumpkin BWM as it isn't quite perfect yet, but it is much improved.

I am really loving this SJTac A LOT! It is nicely balanced, thin and lightweight for its size and just feels great in my hand. The tigerhide sure does look different after it absorbed a bit of oil from handling, but I like the darker look. I'd have to say that the SAR8 SE, SJTac and BAD are my favorites so far out of my little collection. Convex grinds are quickly growing on me. This pic shows most of it minus a few that aren't currently with me.

Those are cool & all but where are the sheaths ???? :D:D:D

Well, you already know what they all look like since they've all been over to visit you recently and/or you're still making them! :p But I think I will have to add a pic with all of the Buy Brown kydex you've hooked me up with. Gonna need one for the SJTac now too.

And we can't forget the one of a kind setup I scored off of my favorite local kydex maker that works with either a SAR5 or a S5 LE just fine.

I'll have to get some shots of the new stuff all together when I pick it up from you. :D
