I finally got started taking some pix...
This the my very first Busse, an NMFSH in Jungle Camo with Paper handles. I got her from another member on the Exchange, and it was LOVE at first sight.
I really didn't know what to expect. I'd never handled a Busse, and just ordered my Rucki from Swamprat. After drooling over pix and posts, I knew I had to tryout an NMFSH. All I can say is WOW! you have just got to hold one of these truly impressive pieced of INFI in your hand! I don't know how else to explain it to fellow Busse newbies/piglets-in-training, other than it feels like you could chop down a stand of trees, wipe her down and then cut up a steak with the NMFSH. The other big knife I have to compare the NMFSH to is a Fallkniven A2, and the A2 is positively petite compared to the NMFSH. The A2 has since gone into the sell/gift box and a second NMFSH replaced the A2.
She's hiding in her AZ Welke sheath:
Here she is:
Closer look at the Camo finish pattern:
Back of her sheath with a Kydex drop plate and leather loop:
I REALLY LOVE this color combo!!!
I think when I finally head over to the real Porkside and hit the Busse custom shop, Jungle Camo will be my finish choice if I don't choose satin finish.
Now that I read Rob Stanley's guide to taking better knife pix this morning, (thanks a LOT BTW Rob!!!!) I'm gonna get takin' more better pix!
