Can some one enlighten me what kind of scales I have (I am guessing micarta snakeskin)

Im my opinion you have the best Busse ever made. Satin.. Tigerhide Micarta.. Its basically perfect. Awesome knife!

You did well -- beautiful knife. When the NFSFNO was introduced I was a little disappointed that it was longer than the SFNO. Didn't seem to have the same classic look or proportions. But then I got one and was sold on it. One of the most nicely balanced Busses in hand. Very useful length and a pleasure to use.

I wear size S gloves so was a bit hesitant about the fit and feel. My first impression - it feels great in hand and locks in securely, I also like its weight and balance. It is blade heavy but still pretty fast and nimble. Fit and finish is superb. Overall I am very pleased. What a knife!
