My first Busse......

.....but certainly not my last. I've been reading the threads here in the Busse forum for quite some time and I finally decided to take the plunge. My NO arrived about a week ago and I got a chance to give it a little test run today. 4 Wheeling in the Alaskan wilderness you need a good knife cuz you never know what you may run into. The woods are filled with moose, black bear, grizzly and the most feared of all Alaskan creatures.....THE ALASKAN MOSQUITO!!! :eek: If you've been to Alaska you know what I'm talking about, you need a good knive just to cut through the swarms.;) Anyway, a big thanks to everyone that posted such good things about Busse knives and to Jerry for building such a great knife. I'm attempting to post a picture.

The NO was my first, a great choice...
 
Nice pic. I've always wanted to hunt in Alaska, but the oppotunity has not yet presented itself. Any state that reportedly has more pilot's licenses than drivers licenses is OK in my book!

I went into your post and added the necessary info to make the pic show up without having to click on it. If you click on "edit" you'll see how I did it.

Heres how: After your post is up, you simply click on the pic and when it shows up you "right click" and hit "Properties". Highlight the properties line and right click on "copy". Go back to "edit" on your post. Right click, and hit "paste". This will put the copied property line into your post. At the beginning of the properties line you put
B]. At the end of the line you put [B]
. Hit the "Save Changes" button at the bottom and BAM! You're in!

BTW, Now that you've discovered that you and SpearHead live in the same neck of the woods I'll need to step in here and give you the usual warnings. If he says that he'd be willing to "Watch your knives while you're out of town" or "Hey Moj, drop 'em off at my place and I'll sharpen 'em for you over the weekend". . . or "I have a bud named 'Idahog' who would like to see your blade" or anything else along these lines. . . . .RUN!!!! He's known as SpearHog in these parts, and it's not because he kills javelina with a sharpened stick!!!:eek: . . .;)

Welcome friend and enjoy the NO. Don't worry about Spearhead looking after your knives, he'll take go care of them.

Bought mine used but it is great none-the-less.

Welcome MOJO JOJO. I am envious, living where you do you as you will have lots of opportunities to use your Busse(s)in the manner in which they were intended - and for which they are now INFImous!

And, as Jerry says, beware the HOGS, the SOWS and even the PIGLETs that you will find on this forum. ALthough they are otherwise relatively good guys !

It's not me, but I have seen a bunch of episodes "in the background" while I was busy doing other things. I don't watch Justice Leauge either
 
Thank you all for such a warm welcome and especially to Jerry for warning me about SpearHead.:D I'll be shooting him an e-mail soon and maybe I'll be watching over his INFI collection while he's out of town.;)

Hey now! Lets not be showin' pics like that and actin' like we don't have a couple o' tons of smoked salmon in the cellar that could be makin' the trip to Ohio. . . . And need I point out again that I'm a giver???. . . I'm willing to send you some Ohio grown corn in exchange!!!:eek: ;)
