My first Busse

My first Busse came today, a Badger Attack with OD green blade and black micarta handles.

I just put an inquiry into Armoralleather for a custom sheath. Any idea what i could pay for a carved sheath for the Badger?

so how do you like the badger?

a basic sheath from dwayne will run you about $50-60 i think. one with some carvings for the badger should be around $100.00, depending on the intricacy of the pattern. more or less.

I like the Badger. Bigger than expected, which is fine with me. The edge had section that had a burr about 2" long, which was a little disappointing, but I removed it with a diamond rod. Now it won't shave hair though. Chalk that up to sharpening inexperience I guess. Handle fits my hand very well, which is good because I was a little concerned that the standard scales might have been to thin, which they weren't.

Overall, I am very happy with it. Haven't been able to cut anything substantial yet, but I don't think that will be a problem.

Can't wait to get some pants for it. Hopefully, that will get ordered this week.
