Lone Wolf makes good knives. Their Harsey models as very well liked.
The only "downside" of the Lone Wolf Harsey models is that some might say they do not offer as good of a value as a Spyderco or certain Benchmades. In other words, since Lone Wolf is a smaller company, their knives cost a little more than comperable Spydercos, Kershaws, Benchmades, Bucks etc...
But you still get a lot of knife for the money, and the price difference isn't very large. The important thing is that you got the knife that appealed to you.
For the price, the Lone Wolf Harsey models are certainly quality pieces.
I have only handled the largest model, but it felt like a tank.
Some people love tantos, some hate them. I have found that they will cut most things as well as a more traditional blade shape. They are overall less useful, though. So I doubt you will use the tanto and find it not practical, or not good enough. It should do what you need it to do. But I, and many others, prefer a more utilitarian blade shape rather than one that is more about looking cool. There are some advantages to a tanto, though.
What kind of scales did you get?
