please excuse my dirty hands... I did the snapshots during my lunchbreak

I am stunned, I really like this knife... I only owned SAKs (sold all my tactical knives and big fixed some time ago)

but I think Case has another long term customer

that's a nice one! i'll be getting my first sbj sometime next week. enjoy it!

Beautiful. I've never even held one, but I'm gonna have to have one soon. Everyone raves about them, and I know that always means I'm gonna love it as well.:D

I've been looking at the SBJ for some time now,it might be time to gets me one :)
Dirty hands,no problem this is where a knife is happiest

I really like that stag SBJ:thumbup: Very very nice. I just got my SBJ for my birthday this last Wednesday and really like it as well. I went with the Chestnut bone CV version and am really pleased with the F&F as well as the walk and talk.

The only negative was that it had a lil black spider web/pitting on the main blade outta the box, so for that reason I forced an apple vinegar patina on it.

Some people complain about Case's quality control, but they usually seem to be at least good, when you're paying $50-75 for a large stockman, anything above decent quality is a steal IMO.

I've seen some Cases that are very nice. I think the main thing is that you should try to go to a Platinum case dealer, and handle the knife you plan on buying. I went through four different stockmans finding one with spey blade tension that I liked.

The Swayback Jacks do seem to be a slight notch above some of the other Case models. My most recent Case knives have been close though. Very nice knife by the way!

I usually swap out knives every week or so. I finally cleaned up the SBJ after four months riding every day carry. It is an impressive little knife.

I am not a Case person. My old knives were mostly Schrades, And later some Bucks.

I learned about Tony Bose and Case on this forum. When I realized that the Wilford hand made knives were out of my reach, I bought some Case/TB Stamped knives.

The Fit and Finish on the Case/TB Stamped knives is excellent, for a production knife. They are Sharp out of the Box. Everything I just said is a quote from BF Members too numerous to mention. They were all correct, at least to my untutored senses.

My preferences are all of them. Particularly the Sow Belly, SBJ, SBG, Saddlehorn and the Ebony Back Pocket. Some of the Case/TB Collabs that I have are excellent, but a real stretch for my wife's Wallet.

I'm not big on stag, but those scales are breathtaking. What a pretty knife. I have the Chesnut CV. Great knife.

congrat leerehaende, SBJ is my fav EDC knife, it's a great pattern, and the stag on your knife is beautiful, btw one of BF member ^ even write a song about a SBJ, just saw that on youtube :D

Yeah, writing a song to a knife was a new one for me. Girls? Motorcycles? Bourbon? Sure...what can I say, it's a heck of a knife. ;)
