All I have to say is "Wow". I am very impressed. My first Cold Steel knife, and I can tell already that it won't be my last. This will replace my Kershaw Tremor as my EDC. Thank you Cold Steel for making such an awesome blade!

It has a beautiful stone-washed finish, and the pocket opening feature has worked flawlessly so far. I have larger than normal hands, and the Spartan feels great. Plus, I have no problem opening and closing this beast one-handed.

It's a tank of a folder.

I have been pleased with nearly all of my CS products over the years.

The blade on the Spartan is phenomenal. 4.5" long and 4mm thick, it is a substantial piece of steel. And no serrations! That was my main gripe with the Tremor was I never warmed up to the serrations.

If you like the Spartan check out the Viper Rhino. It's pricier, but feels a bit like the Spartan's more refined cousin.

I'll definitely check it out, but a huge appeal to the Spartan is the value for the performance this knife is capable of. I have a feeling I'll be keeping this one.

Made a little pull fob from a shoelace and a small steel tube. Works pretty good getting the beast out of my pocket.

Nice pics, I got the ak47 and love it. Waves open like a monster and complete peace of mind with triad lock.
