Started this several years ago, finished it about a year and a half ago.
S-curve dagger, inspired by the Turkish Yataghan.
O1 tool steel, ground and filed from flat-stock.
Mustard-etch, antiqued finish.
Mosaic pins from Texas Knifemaker Supply.
Ironwood slabs, treated with tung oil.
Scabbard is poplar, lined with felt, covered in leather. Dyed oxblood.
Only thing I didn't do is the heat-treat, which I had done for me by a well-known and respected swordsmith whom I was lucky enough to visit.
