holy SH@! I wish I would have known about this way of sharpening before. Last week I picked up a 1095 RAT-3 as a little b-day gift to myself, I was very impressed by how sharp it got using my creamics but then I remembered reading about convex sharpening. It only took a few minutes and I am blown away by how much sharper it became and the improved cutting preformance. I would just like to say thanks to every one here for all the great info and advice, without this forum my knives would still be at the hair poping level but now they are at the stupid sharp level and getting sharper by the day. thanks again
