My apologies for the crappy cell phone pic, one day soon I'll take some real photos.

I posted about my new CRK's in the recent lurker post and of course pics were requested so I snapped this shot. Missing from the photo is my bocote mnandi that is currently in the hands of the usps headed my way. I bought the PJ Large 21 about 2 months ago and then the rest just kind of followed him home :)

Small Inkosi
Small Plain
Small Micarta
Small Insingo Micarta
Small Cocobolo

Small UG Classic
Small Riddled
Small Plain Insingo
Large Pre Idaho 21 (my first CRK)
Scotch brite 25
Umnumzaan

It's tough to pick a favorite this early on but I will say that the Umnumzaan just felt like "THE perfect knife" out of box but it's hard not to grab the small micarta insingo every time I leave the house.

Nice collection, from the looks of it, the CRK bug hit you pretty hard. From one to twelve in a matter of a couple of months, now that's impressive.

From 0 to a very nice collection (and growing) in 2 months?!!

That's amazing man!

Congrats and Enjoy it, they are all exceptional knives.

Yeah a bit of the bug indeed. 12 seems like a good number to me though, so if I add others I'll likely let something go. That said, the box that I keep my CRK's in can hold 14, so there's that.

Don't worry too much about numbers!

(You can always buy a bigger case!!)

If you are enjoying them then keep doing what you like.
I can see a Ti-Lock and an Insingo in your near future!

JR clearly you're one of the fortunate few who bought the CR Limited Edition Crystal Ball when they were available. I like the reading you're getting from it. Did it say anything about adding the large Inkosi for the trifecta?

Or...purchase a bigger box as I have done 4 times so far.

You think I would have learned after having to upsize my gun safes twice. Knives apparently multiply just as quickly.

Thanks for the kind words. I couldn't have put this modest collection together without the help of the fine folks here. Two of my CRK's were purchased elsewhere but the rest of them came from the exchange.

The really good news is that they take up much less room. You can buy foam inserts for Pelican cases that can hold a bundle. A Pelican 1520 can hold 55 CRK folders with the proper insert.

Thanks for the heads up on the 1520. I own a couple of pelican cases and they are nice. If I go that route I'll likely fabricate stackable foam trays for the insert since I'd like to store the knives horizontally rather than vertically. I realize I'll get fewer in the case but will be able to store them presentation side up. I'll check it out.

I always liked the look of the riddled sebenza. Nice collection in such a short time, addiction!!

Thanks. Yeah the riddled is definitely one of my favorites. It replaced my Benchmade HK as my range knife and now I think I might need a large 50 cal to share those duties. I love the fact that CRK offers something for every occasion. My zaan and 25 go to work, the mnandi and inlayed 21's go to dinner, the riddled goes to the range, and the others fill in the rest of the week.
