Congratulations on your new 25! Mine just arrived last week and I agree with you, it is a fantastic knife. Well done.

I prefer the small 21, but you guys are getting me excited about the 25 large. I may just pick one up. Congrats.

I know how ya feel, . I think all first Sebenzas should not only come with a birth certificate but an introductory thread as well... ;)

Just thought I'd revive this thread cause it made me laugh. Since this I have sold this knife, bought and sold a zaan and two large 21s one cgg and a box elder with basketweave. Bought a bunch of custom knives and pretty much am back where I started lol. I bought another 25 a couple days ago. I also have a large 21 micarta insingo, a small snakewood with basketweave, and a older tamboti mnandi. But after buying and selling a bunch of knives getting into custom knives I have ended up back where I started.Funny how my appreciation for these knives grew after buying alot more expensive knives. All of the ones I have now have been bought in the last 5 months.

Hi Topcatpt, I live down the road from you and believe you bought a waved delica from me last year. Funny, I'm waiting on a small 21 (first CRK), and sold off some very nice production knives to offset the cost. I'm looking forward to getting it and will have this and a ZT0350 as my only modern folders to edc, it's time to curtail my spending and I can't justify having more than I need anymore, just saw your thread and had to post this.

I did the same thing around 2006/2007. Started buying some custom folders at the Blade Show and realized none were made or designed as well as my Sebenza's(IMO), and have now sold all of my modern custom folders.

I did the same to offset my first CRK, including the Sage I got from you lol. Trust me, you'll love it and never think of those that you let go for it. Give it a couple weeks and you'll be looking for your 2nd CRK. :)

Thanks for the reassurance, it helps.

I agree with uofaenger if not give it some time and you will appreciate it more and more. The first one I got i thought this is nice but I dont understand what all the hype is about. It took me spending alot of money to figure out what it was all about lol instead of giving it some time.

IMO to truly appreciate it, one almost has to spend a bunch of money on all the other brands and spend some time with those knives to understand why a CRK is a CRK. Keep all those knives or sell them all, that's up to you. The same appreciation will not be found by someone who carried a SAK for three decades and then one day jumps straight into a CRK without knowing what knives are in between that gap...because there are some damn good knives that can be found there. So when someone has a pile of knives that are truly great knives and then spends some time with a CRK, it tends to put it into perspective. But then again, I'm just a fan of overpriced framelocks so what do I know. ;)

I have the small one for every day carry, but if I needed a larger one,the 25 would be the one I'd like.

I began carrying mine right out of the box, it's definitely a cool piece and I'm looking forward to getting to know it.:)
