I have coming a 5.5" Green Beret ,any opinions on the knife & the sheath that comes with it?
Looking forward to it & using it as a bush knife . Anyone else using this type for that(including the pacifica & Roberts)?

i had the large gb, and ended up selling it. though not because it was a bad knife, but because it was sitting in a drawer.

the sheath that came with mine was the blackhawk (about 5 years ago). i think they currently come with a spec ops. both are quality nylon sheaths with kydex blade inserts.

i think generally the bushcrafters tend to prefer a lighter and thinner blade.

i loved the grip/ergos, and mine came very sharp. had i not been buying just about every busse i saw at that time, im sure i would have kept and used it extensively.

What are the diferences between the GB ,Roberts& Pacifica?

i had a roberts too, and sold for the same reason.

the roberts has a recurve, and the grip meets the blade at a slight angle, iirc (think khuk), whereas the gb has a relatively flat spine. also no serrations on the roberts.

haven't handled a pacific, but the differences are ergonomic. the materials are all the same.

between the bg and roberts, i found the gb handle to fit me better.
