Well I finally did it, sold a bunch of my other folders and tracked down a sebenza. They're getting hard to get here in Oz as our import laws are retarded.
It arrived today a large classic MM sebenza in S30V. Like most of us here I'm very impressed at the level of fit and finish, and the silky smooth opening. As someone who dabbles in knifemaking I can really appreciate the workmanship and how well thought out the overall design is.About the only downsides to me ,and they're minor are single thumbstud and the classic engraving , I like the clean look. But as here in Oz choosing the perfect sebenza is pretty much impossible.
I purchased from a collector and there is a very slight roll on the edge( which is thin like a folder should be),and having read about some peoples issues with the hardness I'm a little worried about, but I plan on making this a EDC user so I'll post some more impressions once I've had a chance to break it in.

Just picked up a large classic last week(my first one), I stayed away from the classic because of the stamp but after handling it over the weekend I realized it is the closest sebenza to the original (from the mid 90's) and I Love the old ats-34 sebenza's. Congratulations and I'm sure as time passes you'll see less and less of the stamp and realize that even though the classic is not popular, it is special.

I agree dinokay it was the original that caught my, I remember reading the review in Blade magazine many many years ago. And the classic is the closest, the stamp doesn't bother me that much, but if I had unlimited funds and choice I would have chosen on without.
