Well since I have beaten my trusty buck into stay at home duty I decided I wanted a little more flair in my daily pocket knife. Sp enlisted Alan Davis into making me a pocket knife, I make knives but am just doing fixed blades right now. One of these days I may transcend into the folder arena but until then I wanted someone who already knew what they were doing.
So its not in hand yet but recieved photos of the finished blade. Alabama damascus and stabilized madrone burl (I provided the burl, stabilized by KandG). I am happy with the results. Cant wait to get it in hand.

Wanted to show it off here so you all can take a look. Hope you enjoy.

Well got the knife in today, i must admit I am very happy with the knife. Nice clean quick action, light weight, great file work and workmanship in general. The burl looks even better in person.

Very nice! I've been very tempted by Mr. Davis' abilities and his honest-to-goodness custom jobs...

I have not been disappointed in any of my eight Davis knives, and would be happily adding a ninth if my trade 'partner' hadn't got cold feet when my package made it to him.... I have carried my main folder for a year and a half now and it is going as strong as ever!

Great looking knife and I'm sure it will serve you well!

Fantastic looking folder! Alan's knives are addicting tho.....you can't have just 1. I know from experience.
He's a great guy, I've talked to him on the phone several times.
