After anguishing for weeks, I finally pulled the trigger on this Lightfoot Max Velocity from bladeart. Must say, Seth at bladeart was very helpful (hope it's appropriate to name names here) and a joy to deal with.
I wanted this style of knife, a tactical folder with titanium and carbon fiber (there's just *something* about carbon fiber and titanium that really appeals to me). The hardest part was wading through all the choices. The Max Velocity's blade measures 3.25", with an OAL of 7.5".
It's got a very nice weight that just oozes quality, a big change from my current workday EDC's, a Benchmade 770-CF and a couple of William Henry's, also in carbon fiber. It's a refreshing change carrying a weighty knife, but likely won't accompany me during the workweek. As I've stated before, my receptionist and other colleagues would likely have their fingers poised to dial 911 if I whipped this thing out to open my mail
Lastly, dual thumbstuds and a brushed titanium clip, setup for tip-up carry round out the package. Tip up...just the way I like 'em.
Anyway, here's a couple of quick snapshots.
