This Damascus Bowie was made to my specs by Arkansas knifemaker Dennis Riley.

Overall - 15.75" long
Blade - 10.75" long X 1.75" X .25"

Yes I believe it is Elk. Thanks for the nice comments. Now I have this problem I put this knife as the centerpiece in the display cabinet, but there's some space on either side, what should I do hmmm...
