Hi, I just finished this Jade G10 scale for a Spyderco Chokwe. This is my first "successful" custom scale. I finally picked up a craftsman combination belt/disc grinder today, which helped tremendously. I thought I would just share the fruits of my labors. Criticisms/critiques & suggestions/tips or always welcome. Thanks.

Looks good for your first attempt. How are you liking the Craftsman sander? Need to get a belt sander of some type for some of my planned projects. (Tight budget!:o) I really like the darker color of your jade scales.

Thanks guys. I love the new Craftsman. I was hesitant at buying it at first trying to use whatever tools I had around, but you really need the right tool for the job. Plus I found it used on the local classifieds for $50 and couldn't pass it up. The gentleman who sold it to me also threw in a bunch of new belts and discs.
