I just put an order in with Rob for a folder he calls the Southern Cross. I have had 8 or so Dalton production knives pass through my hands and always admired the purpose driven nastiness of his designs. Since I have been buying way too many balisongs as of late, I felt a disturbance in the force and I've been dealing with a compulsion to buy a custom folder I can legally carry.

This seems to be the answer. Blade is 4.5" of .156" ATS34 and is a perfect candidate for a wave mod. Reminds me of an elongated Sharpfinger. The Ti slabs are 1/8" and will be drilled for tip up on both sides. The price is also quite nice so I may be buying a mirror image in Lefty.

Rob will be contacting me in 3 weeks when it is done.

Looks like I'll be ordering a pair. They will be chisel ground.
