Hey all! Haven't posted anything in awhile, and I just finished this one today, so here you go. :)

The handle is cocobolo, the guard and butt cap are copper.
The blade is 1095, 1080, and 8670.

I'm afraid I can't sell this one, because there's a small flaw in the steel. (bad weld) I didn't know about it until today. I had tape on the blade for a few months, and the bad weld rusted a little. I didn't take the tape off until the knife was finished. Too bad; everything else was just about perfect.

I love the leaf shape of the blade. It has a real old-world feel (in a good way), could even pass as a fantasy or art blade, I love it!

WHAT???~!?!?!??
That thing is gorgeous!!!!!!
I understand about not wanting to sell something imperfect, but....
DAMN.... that's a beauty!
SELL IT!!!! I'll take it for $100!
Shoot, sand your name off, if that what it takes!

One man's bad weld, is another man's well....as in, he won't care cos of the rest of the dagger looking sooooooooo bitchin! Awesome job!

OR maybe run a contest, or sell it and give the proceeds to charity.
It's just too nice to not find a nice home for it!
(where's the bad weld anyway? I can't see it from the pics.)

What is the OAL and blade length? The copper looks good with the wood, You really should sell it. I like the charity auction idea! I know that I would be happy to own it with or without the name. You can even shoot me a price., if you want

Phillip, That is very nice! Different than your usual patterns.
Looks like a gladius. Call it a GL model!

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the compliments, and the offers to take it off my hands. :D
I haven't decided yet whether to keep it or not.
Some of you asked questions about it. I'm about to go on a camping trip, so I'll answer them when I get back. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Phillip
