Hi everyone
Years ago I had a desire to make knives but just wasnt in a position to equipment-wise.
Now however I work for a company that as a development workshop and a foundry pattern shop on site
I have always really likes the BKT knives, in particular the BK9 so with this in mind I set out to make my take on this great kick-ass knife. Whilst I was making it I thought I might as well make another slightly shorter BK knife so I took the design of the BK2... with a bit of a stretch in the blade.
I made these from the rear leaf spring of an old Ford falcon so being made from spring steel they not only take a fearsome edge they are also tough.
They certainly aren't the flashest finished knives but then I made these to work and figured a nice shiny finish would only end up looking like crap soon enough.
