First let me say that I've never owned an Emerson, and yes, I've read all the "Fit and Finish" and "overpriced" posts, but that did not deter me from buying what I was hoping would be a solid and dependable knife for EDC purposes.
My CQC 15 Mini recently arrived and I can't put it down. Of course, my impressions are based on very minimal use, but none the less, it is built like a small battle tank, locks up like a vault, feels unbelievably comfortable in hand, insanely sharp, and no play what so ever when the blade is fully open. I have absolutely no problems with the fit and finish. I can't speak for how it will perform yet in the field, but as for now, I'm beyond impressed and very happy with my first Emerson purchase!
