My first Emerson..how did I do?

I just bought the following used knife off of another board, I wanted a working knife and not spend on a brand new knife which I would be hesitant to use, affraid of scuffing it. I guess I can have this knife professionally sharpen if it is not sharp enough when I get it. How did I do...$50 shipped?

you did fantastic! these knives generally go for over 125 on that auction site. it also has collector value as mr. emerson no longer makes knives for benchmade. the cqc7 (970 series) is one of my favorite folders, whether benchmade or emerson manufactured. awesome grab, you will love it!
 
I think that's a real good deal. I spent more than that when I bought mine about 10 years ago. It's a dependable well made knife.:cool:

I didn't know these knive have collectability even after it's been used?
 
i would say he's talking about new ones, i see used ones occasionally in the $50 to $80 range depending on shape, new ones $120 to $150'ish, a little more on ebay,
