....is an SOFCK plain edged spear point. I absolutely love the design. It is comfortable in the hand, feels absolutely rock solid, and I like the fact I can disassemble it for cleaning if needed. The only complaint I have is about the chisel ground edge. I remember hearing that it won't shave hair, or feel as sharp as a regular ground blade, but that it will cut and cut and cut. I've done some light cutting with mine on paper, rope, fishing line, etc and it doesn't seem to want to bite that much. Is there some trick to really making these knives perform? How much would I have to bribe Mr. Emerson to produce one with a double ground edge?:D

do a search on bandityo, i have a commander he 'v'for me and its extremely sharp and looks like a factory job, imho - actually not for me, got the knife in a trade, but i think it prob does increases the utility of the blade, for most

and i have an tanto socfk and a sp spec war, and they both came scary sharp as they were - also ya can sharpen chisel grinds (ala CQC7) razor sharp, but ya gotta know how, it isant hard just diff
